ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

Graystone Presbyterian Church offers seven Adult Sunday School classes.  These classes are all offered between 9:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.  Each class is described below and if you click on the class name you can view a portrait of class attendees.

THE BUILDERS CLASS
The Builders class meets in the seminar room on the west side under the sanctuary.  This class has been described as older, fun loving, active, prayerful, humorous, boisterous, concerned, helpful, loving, and kind.  The class schedules activities at St. Andrew's Village and enjoys having picnics and other social events together.  The lead teacher of the class is Bill Shane, with a great group of ministry team members to help out.

THE CHALLENGE CLASS
The Challenge Class is held in the lower level of the Church under the Sanctuary in the Activities room.  Fellowship, singing, prayer and teaching are enjoyed in this class, which includes a wide range of ages.  The class conducts Sunday evening worship at St. Andrew's Village the first Sunday of each month.  Social activities include Christmas parties, summer picnics, and various excursions.  The teachers are David Frick and Steve Wolfe.

THE CHAPEL BIBLE CLASS
The Chapel Bible Class meets in the Mack Chapel and is composed of the senior women and men of Graystone.  Some of the members have been active at Graystone for over 50 years.  Bible lessons are based on the International Uniform Lessons.  A time of worship, prayer, and announcements precedes the lesson.  A leadership team lead by Nelson and Judy Stahlman and class president, Ida Evans, invites you to visit the class.

THE HEARTS AND HOMES/TNT CLASS
The Hearts and Homes Class is designed for informal participation and discussion.  It meets in the seminar room on the west side under the sanctuary.  The class is made up of adults at various ages and stages of life.  They provide support for one another through prayer and sharing each Sunday.  The focus of teaching is on Christian discipleship and fellowship.  Kevin Addleman and Brook McGinnis are teachers assisted by a team of others.  Hearts and Homes is known for their great socials.  The class welcomes you to visit. 

THE PRIME TIME CLASS
The Prime Time Class is composed of married and single adults ranging in age from the mid-thirties to mid-fifties +.  The format includes refreshments, worship, sharing of prayer concerns, scripture, study, and small group discussions.  The class has been described as a caring and loving group committed to growing in their faith in Jesus Christ.  They are located in the Middle Social Hall.  A variety of teachers and a large leadership team organize and administrate the class. 

THE SEEKERS CLASS
The Seekers Class is located in Seminar Room 3 next to the Music Suite upstairs.  Their purpose is to develop a Christian world view and to nurture Christian thinking on matters related to the fundamentals of human need.  The class is oriented towards reading about and discussing contemporary issues of concern to Christians.  Seekers invite people to speak their minds on the things that matter to them.  The teachers are Vincent Miller and Andy Arblaster.  You are welcome!
