The Reverend Rick Hurley Pastor/Head of Staff
My wife Beth and I and our five daughters moved to Indiana in August of 2000. Over the last ten years it has been a joy to watch people come to faith and grow as followers of Christ at Graystone. There is nothing better than knowing people are walking with Christ and living for Him.
An ongoing passion Beth and I share is watching any athletic event our girls are participating in and ENJOYING OUR NEW GRANDDAUGHTER MADAILEIN even though it is from a distance as she and her parents, Becca and Drew live in Concord NH. We also enjoy hiking, biking, reading and travel.
My hope for the church is that each of us would know God deeply and live out our faith boldly and compassionately. I am convinced that this only happens as we take responsibility for our pesonal growth and surround ourselves with people who can encourage us in faith. I have recently been drawn to the words of Hosea "Come let us know the Lord, let us press on to know the Lord..." My desire is to know God more deeply...not just know about Him; and to pass on what I see and learn.
