Campus Crusade for Christ

Jeff and Mary Martin, Campus Crusade for Christ The Martins help lead the Mid-Atlantic region of Campus Crusade for Christ.  There are over 6,000 students involved on 140 campuses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and West Virginia.  Jeff’s particular role is that of Regional Director for Field Strategies.              Jeff’s job is to give leadership to campus staff teams by personally shepherding each campus director, by providing visionary and motivational leadership for the 175 plus staff on campus, and by ensuring the development of healthy, local movements.  The local teams use personal discipleship and evangelism as a daily part of their ministry. They also lead Bible studies, plan outreaches, and equip and develop student leaders to go abroad and help launch new ministries.  Our partnership countries include Australia, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, East Asia, and North Africa.              Jeff and Mary have served with Campus Crusade since 1990.  After two years in the US serving at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, they went to Sofia, Bulgaria for seven years to help start new indigenous campus ministries.  Jeff graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Masters of Divinity degree in 2004 and is ordained by the Evangelical Covenant Alliance.  Jeff is passionate about teaching and preaching that is faithful to God’s Word and centered on the cross.  Jeff and Mary have three children; Ellen, Anna, and Jeffrey.   http://campuscrusadeforchrist.com/

Presbyterians Pro-Life

PPL is an independent (not part of our denomination), nonprofit corporation made up of members and pastors of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) which advocates for renewal in our congregation in support of the belief that “God, who made us in His own image, has forbidden us to shed innocent blood.”  Unlike other pro-life groups, PPL does not focus on legislation or political debate but focuses on “strengthening the bonds of family love and nurture” and “protecting innocent life” within the church.  PPL offers a variety of written resources to “help Christians approach matters of life and sexuality from the perspective of biblical faith.” More info: www.ppl.org.
