Rwanda Update

 

Thanks to your generosity, the events on April 27 – the collection of “Change For Rwanda,” the donations given at Coffee Conversation, and the contributions given at the showing of Hotel Rwanda – raised approximately $1000 for our partner church in Gitwe!  This money will help children to pay for school uniforms, and other educational expenses.  We plan to collect “Change For Rwanda” each quarter, and serve Rwandan coffee on a monthly basis.  It will be served next on May 25th.

Also, we will make Rwandan coffee available through the church.  Approximately $5 from each purchase goes directly back to the people of Rwanda!  It is known as one of the finest specialty coffees in the world, and makes a great gift; as well knowing each cup you enjoy is helping our friends in Rwanda. 

To place your order for coffee, you can:

 
  1. Pick up an order form at Coffee Conversation in the Gathering Place on the 25th, and turn it in during Coffee Conversation, or return it to the church office.
 
  1. Pick up a form in the church office, and return it there when completed.
 
  1. Print the form from the Graystone web site, and turn it in to the church office.
 

No payment is due until the coffee is picked up.
